Can’t make it to the beach? No problem. Snellville Tourism and Trade is bringing the beach to you.

The 6th annual Beach Blast will take place from 2 to 7 p.m., Saturday, May 20 on the Towne Green in front of City Hall, 2342 Oak Road.

Bring your chairs or blankets to sit on and spend a fun filled day with us. Everyone coming to the Beach Blast / Luau will recieve a Hawaiian Leis to wear for the day.

This will be a fun-filled day packed with activities for the entire family to enjoy. There will also be a mascot parade around the Green, inflatables and a water slide, a bungee jump, cake and cookie walks, limbo dances, a trackless train, a watermelon-eating contest, a hula hoop contest for all age groups and a 9-hole mini golf course.  An all-day pass is $10. Individual tickets are also available.

STAT the CAT will be celebrating his 3rd birthday and wants to invite everyone to join him celebrate his birthday. He is one cool cat that you won’t want to miss. Several of his furry mascot friends, such as Chopper, Chick-fil-A Cow, and many more will join him for the mascot parade around the Green and some fun in the sun at the Beach Blast.
