Police Sgt. Zach Spahr was honored by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4180 Thursday during the Post’s annual Public Safety Awards ceremony for his outstanding service providing public safety for the city.
Spahr has been a member of the Snellville Police Department since 2006. Prior to joining the SPD, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps from October 2002 to October 2006 in and the Georgia Army National Guard from July 2007 to July 2013.
