I have to admit I was a little surprised to hear that Councilman Bobby Howard has decided not to run for re-election. You can see the affects of his hard work and dedication in the last 6 years of positive growth in Snellville through the Community Garden, the Farmers Market and of course the infamous Cop-Cab, although these are but a small part of the great positive impact he has had on our city.
One thing that I see when I think of a good friend is the commitment, love and dedication he has always shown for family and friends. This can be seen in his love for Reese and Nash, his beautiful grand children.
Here are the remarks Bobby made last night at the City Council meeting:
Tonight I made a very tough decision to not seek re-election as a City Council Member in Snellville, GA. and while my council comments are a little lengthy, I thought I would share them to show my appreciation to everyone who has been a part of this journey with me….
