Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful’s (GCB) first major event of 2016 is just around the corner.  We hope you can help spread the word that GCB, a nonprofit group, is seeking volunteers for one of the largest “treecycling” events in Georgia – Bring One for the Chipper. On Saturday, January 23, 2016 you can be one of the many community volunteers who will help chip trees into mulch at the largest Christmas tree recycling event in Georgia. If you are part of a group or organization, share this fun event with them and bring a team of volunteers! Recycling your Christmas tree keeps them out of landfills by turning them into mulch. This effort saves precious landfill space and provides an easy and environmentally sound way to dispose of Christmas trees. Think of it as a Christmas present for landfills.
Bring on for the Chipper-

When: Saturday, January, 23, 2016, 9 AM – 12 PM

Where: Bethesda Park, 225 Bethesda Church Road, Lawrenceville, GA 30044  – NEAR THE SOCCER FIELDS

What to bring/wear: Wear work gloves, long pants and thick-soled, closed toes shoes. Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful also recommends weather-appropriate, comfortable clothing that you won’t mind getting dirty.
